  3. I spent many summers as an adolescent and teen in Essex and Fenwick. In later years, I would help my friend bring his boat back from the Dauntless to Branford for wintering. Many, many good memories evoked by these photos.

  4. Essex was always a favorite stop over on our summer sailing trips. I always got a kick taking that launch for the 30 second or so ride from the marina to the mainland as we headed for the "Grizz"

Never having been involved with the complexity of photography lets me just appreciate the learning, practice and execution of photographers by viewing their work, whatever their intention, on my own level of sophistication or non-. Some of the "blues" in these pictures seem more vivid than I've rarely noticed in other posts.
