  1. We have what seem to be two owls living about a half-mile apart, maybe a little less. I haven't seen them, but have heard them around dusk all summer. They create quite a sound, talking back and forth to one another. Sometimes, there are turkeys around. When the owls start talking, the turkeys chime right in. It can get pretty loud, but that's nature.

  4. Nope- doesn't look like this....

The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea
    In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five-pound note.
The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar

  6. Beautiful creature. We've got a few owls in the area that we can hear in the middle of the night - calling back and forth. It actually wakes me. Such a beautiful sound. --Holly in PA
