  7. In New England, August on the water looks so much better than this August in the interior of NE ... stuffy, oppressive. Boaters, you are so lucky --- enjoy!!

  8. “... stuffy, oppressive.” Huh? One mans ceiling is another man’s floor. How about lush, verdant, fecund.

    1. That reminds me of the expression, the "deep, dark woods." I don't really understand the deep part but they aren't so dark once your eyes adjust to the light. I rather think of them as cool and shady.
