Well, not quite. No one rushes grouse down from Scotland to White’s (for the more fortunate) or Scott’s (for the less privledged). Our upland bird season starts much more prosaically on October 1st (in Maine at least). Our “driven” shoots are confined to shooting preserves, of which there are several quite near NYC, and are actually tower releases. Many of the “bird throwers” are very talented.
I remember this photo from when it was included in your blog some years back. I commented on it because I had a TD in college and now have another one. A great fun car to have and to drive!
