  1. I am beyond excited to finally be enjoying farm to table dinners this summer - one in Jackson, NH and one in Chatham, MA. Lucky me!

  2. I am envious, our metro area retains town names (Fruitvale, Walnut Creek, Vacaville) that hark back to it's agrarian roots, but there are no longer orchards or farms to be seen.

  5. Nice brick. Judging by the hub caps I'd say about an '88? Finally had to let ours go. Could no longer find either parts or a mechanic interested in working on it even if we did. Got a 21st Century Volvo. It says "Subaru" on it. Sorry. Easily distracted. How was the chicken?

  6. Quite a setup they have there. But what is the young lady in the blue t-shirt slicing? Cheeses? I have to confess not having seen cheeses like that before.

      And so forth.

    3. Translation:
“My cow she heist Mirabella instead of milk they give us mozzarella,
Mozzarella we eat with Tomati oho, oho and spaghetti, macaroni perfectly formed.”

  7. Lush green grass! I haven't seen that since early June. Love the old Volvo too.
