  3. I love those early hours as the market begins, the farmers set up their stalls. There's coffee brewing somewhere and everybody is in a good mood, anticipating friends, business, community. It's the very best part of summer. Thank you for the photos of this lovely tradition.

  4. Question: Tried to buy 100% cotton knit gowns. Found no joy with my online shopping. LL Bean doesn't do 100% cotton anymore. Finally, found a Henley-style cotton nightshirt at Vermont Country Store. Was so thrilled, I threw in a seersucker robe. I am not familiar with VCS. Are they good?

    1. You may be disappointed with the robe. Last seersucker robe I purchased from VCS was 2 years ago and the quality did not compare to years past. Like so many other "dependable's" it has gone the way of cheaply made and from poor quality material. Had been my go to seersucker robe place for years. Not anymore. PA

    2. No. You've confirmed my worst fears. I seem to get all my TV these days from England or Canada. Looks like I maybe getting my clothes there as well.
