  1. We still have races but the Saturday night dance at my yacht club looks nothing like this! It's shorts and topsiders for men and women, outside on the deck, overlooking the Sound, and grooving to the hits from our youth in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. So the tradition is alive and well, but evolved(?) to today's more casual vibe.

  3. Ahh!....sailing when the winds die down. Anyone can make a sailboat go in good winds. It's the lightest to almost no wind that draws out the true skill and finesse of both skipper and crew!!!
