  1. Been a curmudgeon this year and not planted any flowers. Maybe it is not too late to give it a shot. State of the world challenges me. Maybe some flowers would help.

  3. RCJH I also did not plant flowers. The center trunk from a neighbor's large and old oak landed in my yard during a storm and took down the fence (weeks of tree removal, yard clean up, and now most of the yard is dirt/mud).

    June has been a sad month generally (public figures and suicides, personal anguish at the plight of others esp. children). Lately I've wondered if the end times are here.

    I agree--maybe some flowers would help. Thanks for your post.
