  3. The pairing of that magnificent and complicated sailing ship with "...simply messing about in boats" is - just terrific. The comment about reading together with a child brought back memories of reading to, reading with and then, listening to our children. That said, I must admit my first thought when I saw the book title was Fats Domino.
