  1. Here, too! Can you believe it? In Atlanta! Everything has already been cancelled for tomorrow and we'll probably only get 1 inch. But it's better than nothing. :-)

  2. Yes, here, too, in Vermont. Yippee!! We're all happy when it arrives. Unless it's sub-zero or very bad icy roads, people are still out and about (to steal a phrase!) and living life. The skiing is great and good for the resorts and the economy. We have friends who call and say they feel bad for us, but we assure them that we like where we live, snow and all.

  3. I know! Why is it so difficult for some folks to understand that many of us love snow, love winter and love our woolies!! Big grin....PA

  4. We live in snow country, too! Love snow, love woolies, fireplaces and thick socks. Oh, and a good book and crochet...whew!

  5. PS: Hot chocolate, flannels (shirts, jammies, sheets), crystal designs on the windows, feeding the birds...yayyyyy, winter. Of course, spring, summer and autumn are my favorites, too!

  7. I love the look of that photo. What can be more homey on a cold day. A warm fire, a pair of wellies or field boots, a Barbour jacket or barn coat, a tweed flat cap and a scarf. I love winter - but bear in mind I live in southern Australia where our deep winter is your mild autumn :^)

    1. Ha ha, yes! Exactly. Still love these beautiful photos. From a fellow Aussie currently enjoying 30 degrees and the beach.
