  1. My favorite scarves are tartans that come from Lochcarron.

  2. These are so pretty. I bought the navy, fuschia, white one after seeing it on your blog. So nice, softer than expected, too. What's the old adage: "imitation is the sincerist form of flattery?"

  3. I once had a scarf/muffler that I got from Midas as a promotional item. It was a really good gold color with "Midas" in black on the ends. It was my favorite and I used it for many winters. What I really liked was when after weeks or months of commuting together on bus and train one of my fellow riders would say, "Oh, I get it - a Midas Muffler".

  4. Cambridge's venerable Ryder and Amies will now let you create your own scarf--the real deal and at a great price. I've had them make one for the several schools from which I graduated as well as my favorite sports teams. http://www.ryderamies.co.uk/shop/create-your-scarf/

    1. Thank you. What a great idea! There's a couple of things ticked off the Christmas list.
