Out and About

  1. Wow!! What a diverse group of photos! With some - what I call - "real world" activity in there, too. Cars, animals, flowers, houses, water, boats and police and firemen. As an annual vacationer in New England, I frequently find myself lulled into a sense of otherworldliness there. But the last time I was in Old Saybrook, a downtown building was on fire and I came out of my fog. Still, I wish I were able to live up there. Yes, all year round!

  2. Wonderful! Love the vintage Volvo wagon and piggy. Once again, thank you.

  3. Beautiful. Also loved the pig and the brown gambrel house near the end. Vintage cars also great. Thank you.

  4. Because of some personal problems, I usually wake up each morning in a state of troubled anxiety. But then, with some good coffee (not Keurig ... too wasteful) in a - LOL - "meaningful mug" (HISTORIC NEW ENGLAND, TOPSFIELD FAIR, BIRDSEYE DINER-CASTLETON VT) plus my morning must-see website, SWNE, I immediately feel better! It really helps to be reminded of what really matters, and to confirm my basic underlying gratitude to be living in New England. THANK YOU, Muffy!

  5. The last photo reminds me of my summers in Maine as a college student.

  6. I have a real fondness for that little pig...perhaps no longer quite so little.
