Robert Hardy dies at 91


According to The Guardian, Robert Hardy died today, at 91.  Many will remember the delightful Robert Hardy as Siegfried Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small, or from his numerous other roles.

  1. All Creatures is my favorite all time show. Robert Hardy was such an incredible actor. I love his other work, for example he had a role in the first Foyle's War that I ever saw, but to me TV just doesn't get any better than watching All Creatures by the fireside. RIP Robert Hardy. GLH

  2. Sad news. He was a favorite. The best of PBS entertainment. Watched it and taped it from day one. My VHS tapes are long gone but "All Creatures" will live on in many hearts. PA

  10. Hardy was a great actor, but Gary Oldman is remarkable as Winston Churchill in the upcoming movie 'Darkest Hour'.

  11. Saddened to hear. Love him! I grew up watching him on All Creatures. He was also in Harry Potter.
