  2. Love your photos, Muffy!! They always put a smile on my face. Thank you for all your hard work. Does the pig have a name? I want to give it a hug and a kiss.

  8. My Dad bought a little place when I was in high school and I got a pig through the FFA pig chain. When she had her first litter of pigs it coincided with our County Fair where she and the pigs-brag, brag- won Grand Champion. You just can't believe how smart and personable these animals are. I will say that they weren't always inclined to be controlled - just try washing, brushing and putting baby oil on a hog that's weighs hundreds of pounds and 8 or 9 little pigs while keeping them from rolling in their wood shaving beds just long enough to get them in the show ring.
Given the beautiful scenes in this post, I can't believe that I commented on a not so glamorous animal but then, isn't everything/everybody beautiful in their own way. Thanks for the memories.
