  1. We had those glasses; I believe my brother has what remains of them now.

  2. A friend brought us an antique decoy, looking like the one in the photo, from a decoy festival in North Carolina no less! Aged and well used in its time, it has a place of honor on our bookshelf next to an ancient copy of Jemima Puddle Duck.

  3. I have two sets of Ned Smith glasses and an ash tray. The glasses are perfect for the table at Thanksgiving. They are beautiful!

  5. You never seem to answer this question, Muffy, so I will ask it again: did you really live your life refering to your parents as "Mother" and "Father" or is that something you just do on this blog?

    1. How intriguing to imagine that you're remotely entitled to an answer to such an invasive personal question, Paul. God knows where you were raised, and by what sort of parents.

  7. We have a beautiful set of the Richard E. Bishop double old fashioned optic game bird glasses that were purchased through Orvis. They hold a prominent place on a tray with a decanter in our family room. I was so disappointed when one of the glasses broke, and I haven't been able to find an exact replacement.
