Farm Flowers

3 comments:

  1. Zinnias and snapdragons, two of my favorite old-fashioned flowers! Are they mixed with statice? These are the flowers sold at roadside stands in Ball jars by the Amish and non-Amish farmers along with gladiolus and sunflowers here in PA.

  2. Anyone have a successful way to dry hydrangeas? PA

    1. If you cut hydrangeas and put them in a vase without water, they will dry on their own. You may want to spray them with a fixative once dry so the fragile petals don't drop off as easily, but otherwise, they remain nice for a long time. There may be a more professional way of doing this but this has always been my method.
