  4. Ah, the wise parents of the 50s who allowed kids to explore, take risks and learn natural consequences. I'm so thankful I was raised during that time. It was also a time when color photographs started to become popular. Our family had a Brownie camera in those days. Some of our old photos are black and white while others resemble the early color tones of the above example. Wonderful memories! Great times!
