  1. We have beaver around here where I live. They live in the creeks but instead of a lodge in the middle of a pond, they create living places by burrowing into the banks of the creek. It's very difficult to actually see a beaver in the wild but they do not make good neighbors.

    Your photos are wonderful and always show a peaceful world.

  2. Oh to go clamming again. Do they actually find clams? I thought they were mostly gone on the coast.

    1. There are plenty of clams! Our season just closed (4/30) reopens in October.

  3. Love to see the real granite - here in the South, even in places like Charleston or Savannah that ought to know better, those granite blocks would be fake cement "stone."
