Still Chilly: Tattersall Shirt Plus Aran Cardigan

  1. I prefer to see black watch or a royal stewart tartan shirt with that sweater because it would add more colour. That's my hot button- colour and texture. The sweater is marvellous texture and the perfect colour but not that shirt.

    1. The lighter Tattersall seems a good choice for spring. Darker colors would show through the weave of the sweater. Personal preference of course.

    2. That shirt is just not my personal favourite but it is in step. No denying that.

  2. I think your subtle color combo is perfect for chilly spring days...it is spring after all.

  4. Nice, touch, Muffster: no nail polish. Shows power, simplicity, authenticity. I love it.

    1. I am glad Muffy uses no nail polish or fake nails. Simple & understated is better.

    2. Who uses fake nails?

    3. Nail polish - I'm so happy for Muffy's reinforcement of naked nails! My sensibilities will not permit me to spend for manicures when I can care of my nails myself. I attended a luncheon yesterday and the entire table of women had their laquered manicures, and yes, even fake nails! I toyed with the clear coat, but even that caused my nails to become discolored and brittle. The chipping and use of polish remover chemicals was enough to just say NO. I'm relieved and inspired to hear that others feel similarly to the no polish concept.

  6. Great shirt/swearer combo. Just put away all my sweaters for the summer.

Love the seasonal wardrobe change over. Good Will here I come.

  7. My word, it's like the Women's Christian Temperance Union bazaar and fashion show planning committee all of a sudden!

  8. Agreed...the nail polish, hair dye and fake nails are unnecessary. We are beautiful as we are and as we behave.

  9. I can see why the comments were eventually stopped.

  10. I like the combination. Tattersal is not so easy to find these days. I'd wear that combination with simple pearl earrings and dark jeans.

    Love the natural, classic look.

  11. Nail polish isn't practical for every day. Not unless one's hands are idle ;)
