  3. The Connecticut shore is one of my favorites. Lovely scenery made even better with children, at play, at the shore. Susan

  4. 1st pic; Little Bernice, checking out the outboard motor, gets tired of waiting for Uncle Ralphie and his dilly-dallyings...

  5. Stony Creek is iconic, having grown up in Branford I have a largesse cache of memories traveling to that borough of town. Friendliest people in town, or as Branfordites call them: "Creekers."

  6. Stony Creek: what fabulous pictures. Black and white makes them timeless. I learned to swim at the Stony Creek Beach so these kiddies could have been earlier pals of mine although I don't recognize them. Swim class was always followed up by popsicles from Paine's store--a charming small town grocery long since gone and now occupied by an art gallery.
