...With an Ancient Madder Bow Tie

  1. What character, what personality – no cookie-cutter this. A beautiful work of industrial design and art.

  2. The Silver Cloud is a beautiful car, a lasting legacy from the late, great engineer John Blatchley and his design team. This model was designed for a relatively new clientele for the manufacturer, owners who would actually drive the car. For the more traditional customer, a variant of the Silver Cloud was offered with an extra long chassis, which could be equipped with an electrically operated division between the chauffeur and the passengers in the rear seats.

  3. Just...wow! What a pleasure this car must be. "Good for you" to whomever owns it! It's a beauty!

  4. Old joke:

Fellow out driving his new Rolls, turns to his friend sitting next to him to rub it in and says "So. Ever ridden in a Rolls before, Jim?"

Jim replies "Not in the front."
