  2. I'm so happy someone else appreciates overcast and misty days. I love them! Thanks!

  3. I agree with Susan. I absolutely love foggy, misty days. The more the better, except if you're driving, of course. As the days go by, I'm learning to more appreciate all kinds of weather. Endless sunshine is not in the cards for me, and I'm fine with that.

  4. Very nice! A tease that Spring is on the way. Have to say I am ready for it. It's nice to go outside and not have a blast of cold air hit the lungs.

  5. Count me as another who loves foggy, misty days! When I was young, on foggy days my mother would always say 'good day for a murder!'. Ah the joys of being raised by an Englishman.

  7. From an Instagram post by Sewanee:
On days like this, it’s good to remember this passage from a column in a 1950 issue of the Sewanee Purple: “The island of Britain as often as not is enveloped in a luminous mist, sometimes referred to by less imaginative people as fog. The virtues our British cousins claim for this sort of weather are, amongst others, these: it is good for the eyes; it is good for the complexion; it is good for the nerves. And all that's good to know.”
