Greater White-fronted Geese?

Question for birders.  These geese were seen yesterday along the Connecticut shore.  They appear to be Greater White-fronted Geese, typically found in the Midwest and West.  Are there alternative identifications?

A lone Greater White-fronted goose had been identified in Stamford, Connecticut last year at this time, so it is not out of the question.

  1. I like your ID, it seems a perfect fit except for the Spring habitat. Or would this be considered Winter habitat. Curious about Lesser White Fronted and Greylag in comparison. So many geese species and subs.
