  1. Very nice, but I do miss the old TDP days and the comments from MCG.

    1. I'm glad to see that past contributors are still drawn to this blog. There's really nothing like it on the Internet; nothing comes close. Best wishes to you all, to the captain, to the crew, to the seaman recruits. The new burgee is perfect. It stands alone; it needs no explanation. MGC

    2. MGC, so glad you're still here and once again able to add your insightful comments to compliment those of Muffy. In my post above I wrote out MGC and MCG and couldn't decide what looked correct. GLH

    1. MGC...I stand corrected. He had a rare way with remembrances. A gentleman.

  4. May I ask, who "MCG" is? Thank you in advance.

  5. My recollection is that it was MGC, but my recollection may be faulty. MGC was a friendly and interesting commenter here. Friendly and interesting enough that several of us remember his contributions.

  6. I actually couldn't recall if it was MGC or MCG. Either way the comments left were always interesting.

  7. Well done on the burgee! It's fabulous! I like that the stars look more like the stars on a Laser sail, than traditional 5 pointed stars - very cool!
