Original Photographs from Archives

  1. What a night, 1965, the launch of LWT. So glad your dad was there to give us these enduring images.

  2. I am struck by the classic elegance and tasteful dress of the women. It was so Jackiesque to be a "lady" back then.

  3. I was admiring the women too, EtiquetteLady. Those dresses, with their elegantly simple lines, have not worked well with modern fabrics; for reasons that include their never disguising what's beneath. The glimmer of hope I've seen recently are sheaths made of thicker manmade fabrics being worn by t.v. anchorwomen. And, for all that's been lost, at least we don't have pointy undergarments to deal with.
