Netflix's The Crown

People who enjoyed Peter Morgan's The Queen <http://amzn.to/2i60Ayk> may enjoy the award winning prequel series, The Crown, including the outstanding performances by Claire Foy and John Lithgow.  And as an aside, for those who consume media in smaller chunks, it speaks very well for Netflix how easy it is to (temporarily) cancel the service, compared to, say, The New York Times.

  2. Marvelous series, yes to your John Lithgow and Clair Foy superlatives, adding Jared Harris who blew me away with his performance. For those without Netflix, the series can be viewed over here [ignore the Log In/Sign Up cautions] http://www.couch-tuner.ag/watch-the-crown-online/

  3. I binge-watched 'The Crown' the weekendof its launch. Very interesting, Lithgow is amazing as Churchill and Foy gives a smashing performance as Elizabeth. I've always admired the late Queen Mother, but she comes across as not so admirable. Ah, the life of a Royal! cheers!

  6. Lithgow should have won a Golden Globe. Love this show. I am currently loving Victoria on PBS.
