Lotuff’s No. 12 Leather Tote is an effortless bag.  The design is elegant and complete.  It is the right size for a pocketbook, but has the breezy feel of a tote bag.   It is leather lined, so nicely structured.  It can go to a gallery opening in Stockholm or London, or the supermarket.  

And it looks smashing in Camel.  (I can now say Camel belongs amongst Lotuff's best colors, which include Chocolate (Brown) and Indigo (Navy).)  The Camel also shows off the absolutely stunning stitching that is felt but not always seen in some other colors.

Lotuff's New Leather Small Tote, Now Brilliant in Orchid

Lotuff's new leather Small Tote is perfect.  I have been using my Chocolate Small Tote every day since it arrived a few months ago.  It is just the right size and just the right feel.  There is something about the continuous handle design -  meaning the handle leather wraps around the bag - that gives it a feeling of security.

Now, Lotuff is offering their Leather Small Tote in a brilliant new color,  Orchid.  Many will love it as a Spring color, to be sure.  It is perfect for Easter, graduations, even Mother's Day, as well as all of the days in between.

But I also look forward to using it in Autumn.  The vegetable dyed Orchid is quite rich and deep, and it will bring out the Heather in so many great tweeds.  It will work very well with tattersalls.

I have had my first Lotuff pouch for almost a decade.  I use it everyday in my pocketbook.  It has only gotten better with age and use.

In their sumptuous 929 Briefcase, Lotuff  Leather has successfully created an everything bag.  Made of their celebrated hand-selected vegetable-tanned leather,  it is a briefcase for those not wanting a briefcase; a pocketbook for those not wanting a pocketbook.   Due to its well designed top, it is very easy to use with a generous opening.  

It shifts easily between men and women, and I have been experimenting with using it for all of my daily activities, and have not hit a problem yet.  I like the feel of it under-filled, as a pocketbook replacement, but it bulks up beautifully to tote a lot more when needed.

Those who want their bags to be structured and stand up on their own are in luck.  And those who like the feel of soft, pliable leather are also in luck.  It is both.

The pockets inside handle a couple of pens, a phone, and sunglasses on one side, and a bigger item such as an iPad or laptop on the other.  It is also perfect for business meetings or as a carry-on for cross country trips.  

I truly love this bag.

I have a thing for totes.  

So that may be why this new Lotuff Small Tote felt instantly at home when it first arrived.  Just out of the box, I was already walking over to it to put in keys and sunglasses.   

The just released tote is fabulous and it has all the right proportions - wide enough to be stable and not so deep that you can't find anything.  

It is a perfect size for a pocketbook, and in fact the perfect pocketbook for people who don't like pocketbooks.   

One of my favorite features is the full continuous handles, meaning the handle leather wraps around the bag to give it an extra tough and secure feel   And the handles are rolled, so it feels great to carry   

This is an unlined tote, with a clasp to keep it shut if desired, and a not-too-thin shoulder strap.
