A New England Dairy Farm and Raw Jersey Milk

With the seasonal greening up, New England dairy farms are able to let their cows graze.  Local dairy products will shift to the summer yellowish colors and subtly changed flavors.

Greening up in town....

...and on the farms is evident.

Jersey Calves

Knowing your cows and your farmer when buying raw milk is always a good idea.  Dairy CSAs are becoming more popular to ensure availability as demand grows.

The call of the wild may have to wait a bit longer.

This fresh soft cheese is made locally at the farm using cultures that are a cross between Fromage Blanc and Mascarpone).
  • Fresh garlic/chive soft cheese on wheat crackers, non-native/organic berries and iced tea (made with Barry's Tea).
