    1. I was last there in 2012. It still looks the same to me.

  2. I love the many curious characters, groovy styles and hippie-esque businesses.

  3. Coming of age in the early 70s, this walk down memory lane made me laugh...what were we thinking? Often Muffy posts old photos of styles that are timeless/classic, but I can't say the same for this period. Nothing makes me feel nostalgic in the same way that photos from the early to mid 60s do. San Francisco and Woodstock changed it all!

  4. Heh heh. The 70s were many things, but "dignified" isn't one of them!

  5. People seemed to have thicker hair in the past, not just because it was longer. Even blading men had more scalp coverage. I notice it every time I see old photos.

    1. Well, everyone was younger in the past.

  6. P-Town's still beautiful, still delightfully weird!

  7. Style-wise, the 70s were the worst decade ever.

  8. Sadly, there was a catastrophic fire on Commercial Street this past weekend.

  9. I've never been to Ptown but I can vouch for the same bad fashion pretty much everywhere in the 70's! What were we thinking?!
